Guest guest
I've discovered cellulose really hangs on to humidity: I did an experiment with a sample of the cellulose that I was going to use at the suggestion of Carl, to wet it to see if it smelled. It laid on top of water for awhile, then sunk in. Next day no smell. Day two no odor either and day three still okay, so I drained water out of bowl to let it dry out. Three days and it didn't dry out, so figured it was bowl and transferred it to a plate yesterday and today its still sopping wet even though house is so dry my lips are cracking so this stuff really hangs on to water once it is wet. Based on this I wouldn't install it any place where it may be humid because it really hangs on to water! If I soaked a sponge, it would have dried out overnight. Guest guest
PS Carl did not suggest I use cellulose. He suggested I wet it to see if there was any odor wet..just to clarify. > > I've discovered cellulose really hangs on to humidity: I did an experiment with a sample of the cellulose that I was going to use at the suggestion of Carl, to wet it to see if it smelled.
