The best vacuum cleaners by far, especially for someone with sensitivities, is a Miele (now owned by Nilfisk, who make the best, but at much higher cost). They are relatively expensive but energy efficient, of high quality and they have great suction. They also last for decades.

Some friends of mine who do not have sensitivities like their new Dyson portable.

Can anyone recommend a portable hepa vacuum? I've bought portable vacuums but they have always lacked any pick up power. Thnks

I have a Miele Callisto for my house. Very expensive but well worth it. We just had a flea infestation when my cat died and got rid of them without pesticides.

That's impressive. Did you have carpeting or hardfloors? How long did it take to get rid of infestation? Did you vacuum daily to do this. I avoid pesticides if I can.Subject: RE: portable hepa vacuumsTo: "iequality " <iequality >Date: Thursday, January 26, 2012, 2:42 PM
