Hello Everyone

I have some bad news! Jeffs allergic reaction is possibly his epilepsy

medications combined with the penicillon he took on the weekend and the locum

has advised him to go straight to the GP tomorrow and then he will quite

probably be admitted to hospital with a neurologist for god knows how long to

take him off his meds and to be placed on new ones!!! If he stops his meds he

has seizures and quite frankly I do not think its that safe to be doing it at

home or without a neurologists involvement this was also the opinion of the

locum. Now I have absolutely NO idea where he'll be placed when he'll go but we

will have to wait to find out! IF his symptoms worsen particularly with the

breathing (fine at present) then we have been advised to call an ambulance

straight away and I have the magic ambulance button so i do not even have to

phone them! theres a door key in key box as well!

I feel very smug because I asked a simple question Could his other meds (which

of course none of 3 drs asked him what he was on!!!!) be making it worse or

making it happen or be stopping the antihistamine to work!!! And guess what the

combined epilepsy pills and the pencillon do exactly what I say cause a sydrome

where you get a rash just like his!!! Which is why he needs to change seizure

meds!

So please pray for us that he will be OK and that I will be able to obtain

emergency respite if needs be esp if he goes to hospital. seems to be one thing

after another I am so sick of it!

Thats it for now
