Guest guest
To , I can’t help with you first question but I started my intake of LDN on August 1st at 4.5 mg. The first couple of nights I woke up at 3:00 or 4:00 AM but have had no problem since. I will be faxing it to Skips tomorrow. For those of you who are experienced at this I'd appreciate your input. Here are my questions: First, Do some people make liquid LDN from the capsules/tablets that I will get from Skips? Or is the liquid LDN issue just for the Revia 50mg users? Second, what is now thought to be the best dosage to start at? I've read people doing many different things. I understand that I'm aiming for 4.5mg ultimately. How long would I take to build up to this? I will be getting my LDN in the form of 1.5mg tablets/capsules. Thanks for any advice.
Guest guest
When I first got my diagnosis I ordered 100 1.5 tablets...that way I could experiment with the dose...1,2 or 3 tablets.... I finally settled on 3 mg. Your body will let you know what is best. I felt so stiff on 4.5, I knew it wasn't for me....Last month I started dumping my capsules into water and drinking them...and just recently started the revia in water..... Guest guest
Hi , Congratulations! My husband started on 4.5mg a year ago in June and never had any trouble. He gets his from Skips too and just swallows the capsule every night around 11:00, bedtime. He has not had another exacerbation since starting and has better balance, energy, and doesn't have to get up so much at night to go to the bathroom. He is also doing the Best Bet Diet, which I believe has helped too. If you're a little hesitant take one the first night, two the second night and if that goes well, take three the third night. If you find yourself getting stiff or sleepless back off to two until you get used to it and try again. It won't hurt you and it's wonderful stuff! Best wishes! Guest guest
Lori, What differences did you noticed when you put your capsules into water? Did you notice anything different? Guest guest
Hi Tierra, It sounds like our husbands have had similar successes with LDN. however had to back down to 3.0 from 4.5 due to increased tingling and numbness. Otherwise he had no side effects. He also is on a similar diet. I think you are right, that it has been very complimentary to the LDN and has been helpful. Guest guest
Hi Aletha, I felt just an overall wellness.... hard to describe.... I think anything that is liquid and can go right to our system is always a good choice. A lot of it seems to be how I feel emotionally... I have been feeling better little by little with my nutritional changes, emotional health, personal boundaries.... I'm also allowing myself to rest guilt free. lori [low dose naltrexone] Questions for getting started Hi,I'm happy to say I finally got my LDN prescription after several attempts. Guest guest
HI , Stared capsules 4mg in Jan. Had poor sleep for a week and woke up 3 or 4 every night completely awake. When that passed I started sleeping better than I have for years.Kim
