Guest guest
Dear Dr Birbal,  Following is Chetan's mail. Chetan Dhamne is from 1995 batch and is doing Pediatric Hematology Oncology fellowship in Houston.  Did you get in touch with Ashish Sachdeva ( 1983 batch ) Dear Dr. Birbal - Congratulations! Congratulations to Aditya! Step 2 CS is not a difficult exam. But it is helpful if Aditya knows a few things about how the clinic flows in a US setting. It would be great if he could follow Dr. Bhaskar or preferebly an internist in the clinic to get acquainted to the system. It will be helpful to come the US a week earlier and speak to a few people to make sure you understand the accent and people understand you. Most people get though without any problems. There are a few books the Kaplan and USMLE First Aid which have patient encounters. These are a must. If you have any particular questions please feel free to email me anytime at chetandhamne@... If you happen to prefer Houston for your exam I will be happy to host you. Good luck. Chetan Keep Smiling Dear Dr Birbal,  Hearty Congratulations to Aditya for getting such a high score !  Its been a very long time since we took USMLE and went through the residency process. I will forward this mail to recent grads.  If he can take the USMLE CS2 in Chicago, then we would be very glad to host him. He can follow me around in my clinic (pediatrics) for one or two weeks. However if any of our Internal Medicine colleagues could have him, that would be more useful for the CS2 exam.  Regards,  Ashok Bhaskar 1984 Subject: Help required for USMLE To: mgims Date: Friday, July 16, 2010, 11:52 PM  Dear friends, My son Aditya cleared his MBBS and internship in Feb.2010.
