Guest guest
I have a quote.. big surprise coming from me. But i cant find the book.. i think its from CHutzpah.. a book about Judaism by that lawyer guy cant remember his name.. This is a rough version.. A Jewish congregation got a new rabbi and one group said the Shema.. " HEar oh Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord our God is one.. " while standing and the second group said the shema while sitting.. and so there was a huge arguement and They went back and forth on what was the proper tradition.. Finally the old rabbi stood up and said the tradition is not to stand.. and the sitting group was happy but then he said the tradition is not to sit.. So they were angry and said what then is the tradition.. ? And he finally said the tradition is to argue about it.. But the important thing is that they all said the SHema.. (holiest prayer in Judaism.) Which united them all. IT seems to be true on this list that the tradition is to argue at the moment. But we all love what is.. sort of ok making an attempt love, roslyn > > " if I read any more I will probably throw up " . > > What happened between me Steve is over > it is in the past. > I hear you want to throw up > yet you and lovethework love to remind us of it all the time. > > I have no problem with it > but if something makes you feel so bad > why would you want to talk about it all the time? > > And if it helps you > please do. > > I love you dearly > and if you feel like throwing up > I see it as a act of love > > I am glad to have you here > > Tami > > >
