Guest guest
Today, I practice the art of noticing. When all those little voices in my head are nagging at me about all my problems and I can’t seem to shut them up, I have found that a good way to "get out of my head" and to stop being self-absorbed is to notice what's going on around me. I take a closer look at my surroundings: I inquire how other people are doing, and I really listen to their answer. I take a closer look at familiar places and appreciate the things that I have in my life right now. When someone is in need, helping them with their needs, to the best of my ability, is a sure cure for “in-my-headismâ€.
