The 2011 Combined Federal Campaign prepares for its kickoff, and a schedule of special events is planned for October. Director Birnbaum, Ph.D., delivered a keynote talk at ISEE Barcelona, as Deputy Director Rick Woychik, Ph.D., represents NIEHS at a post-9/11 workshop in New York.In scientific developments, two Council science talks are highlighted, along with three Superfund studies, NTP alternative test programs, and high-profile meetings about toxicogenomics, green chemistry, and toxicology and infectious disease research.
