Hi Tom,

Attached is the protocol for spasm from Dr. ce. If you would like me

to send you all of his protocols for LDN and MS, please let me know.

  • 5 months later...

I've only been on ldn for five weeks, but I have had somewhat

decreased spasticity. However, the first couple of weeks, I actually

experienced an increase at certain times. That has completely

passed. I am currently taking 3 mg.

Best Wishes,

Hi ,

I had the same thing happen to me when I started LDN in June of 2003. My spasms decreased dramatically. I was on tegretol 3 times daily and when I started LDN I dropped down to one and two times daily. Last March I fell and broke my shoulder and the trauma of that fall made my spasms return. I am back to 3 times daily. I am on 4.5 mg

I was born spastic in all 4 extremeties of unknown origin...as MS kept

progressing the spasticity worsened. LDN(2 1/2 yrs) has stopped my

progression and I got many symptom improvements but one that did not

improve on LDN is spasticity.

Marie,

I'm sorry to hear of your fall. Perhaps with more healing time, the

spasms will reduce. After breaking my ankle, it took over a year

for the problems to return back to normal.

Good luck!

Spacticity was my major problem. After six months

prior to LDN I walked like a toy soldier. If I would

sit for any period of time I would have to stand to

let the blood flow for a bit before I made that first

step. I became quite the actress in hiding this for

the last 22 years. Then I took that leap of faith and

ordered my Revia from Mexico cause neither of my

doctors would prescribe it. Guess what-- after 151

days I go out to dinner and even have a couple of

glasses of wine. I started out on 2 mg and worked up

to the 4.5 which I am still taking. LDN has given me

a big portion of my life back. I'm working on those

long walks and then off to the old jogging trips.

Hang in there you have made that first important step.

I threw out the baclofen before I started the LDN as

it never did anything to help. I haven't looked back

since.

Loretta,

You have no idea how good this makes me feel to read your post! I like your analogy to the toy soldier. That is me to a tee! I have become a pretty good actress in the last 15 years, except for when I fall on my face, and everyone either looks at me like I'm drunk or makes fun of me. I will be starting my LDN soon. My GP is a great guy, and I know he's skeptical, but he's willing to give it a try. He said, "most all of your other meds you are taking have worse side effects, so why not?". I can't wait to see his face when I prove him wrong!!

Thank you so much!

Jen

Hi everyone

The posts on spasticity have made me feel better too. I also feel

like I am walking like a toy soldier. About a month ago I was just

getting off a 1 hour flight from Melbourne to Sydney and as I stood

up I lost my balance a bit. A very loud mouthed woman ( I won't

call her a lady} said " what have YOU been drinking during the

flight " . I just ignored her but my 15 year old daughter who was

with me was very upset at the callous remark.

Anyway, on a good note I am starting my FAST RELEASE LDN tonight.

I've had a little hitch because the first pharmacist I used made up

slow release capsules. I then had to go back to doctor to get

another script. He was on holiday so I had to wait 2 weeks.

If anyone using this site lives in Australia a good pharmacist to

use is

Greens Dispensary Compounding

Take care everyone
