Guest guest
In response to the tremendous media coverage ABA is getting over the last week or 2, our nonprofit organization has received numerous calls from parents of newly-diagnosed children desperately seeking ABA services. They are very disappointed having called every consultant in our area only to learn they have waitlists. One of our services is to provide an online autism resource center and one of the links is ABA Resources. I have listed those I know of for sure in the DFW area. Others have asked not to be listed because of their waitlist already. If you know of any others consultants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, please email me. This is for INFORMATIONAL purposes only - not an endorsement. Thank you for your help! Guest guest
Hi Kim-- Perhaps you should call the actual board for the most up-to- date. Apparently the on-line list isn't 100% accurate. PS also, if we make them aware that we're interested in knowing who does work with children, then they might add that feature to the web list. Re: ABA providers in North Texas? Thanks . Yes I check the website twice/year after each exam because we often have professionals (even therapists) calling themselves certified or saying that they will be sitting for the exam. Unfortunately it doesn't show who works with children with autism. I'm getting several replies at least so hopefully we'll get more families served. Thanks, Kim. > Kim you can find a list of all the credentialed people in the state > by checking with www.bacb.com and looking under the consumer section. > There are a lot more folks up in your area. > Texas Autism Advocacy www.TexasAutismAdvocacy.org Partners Resource Network www.PartnersTX.org Autism-Awareness-Action Worldwide internet group for AUTISM. Guest guest
Kim, I do work with children with autism and I am also a certified teacher. I am also completing my Masters In Expectational Education with an emphasis on autism. I have won a few awards as Autism Teacher of the Year for the state of VA. I live in Houston but could so some part time traveling if needed to do some consulting. Crawford, BCABA Singleton wrote: Hi Kim-- Perhaps you should call the actual board for the most up-to- date.
