Am I reading correctly that this is liquid LDN that you are placing under your tongue? Find out if your pharmacy is using pure naltrexone powder.

Had to go ahead and answer some questions.

You need to get tested for Lyme Disease via a Western Blot test. Do not settle for just the ELISA test as it can give too many false negatives. The Western Blot is not a 100% in detecting Lyme but it is more sensitive than the ELISA. Lyme can mimic MS in symptoms, MRI lesions and in spinal fluid exams. Rule out Lyme ASAP.

I was tested Western Blot Negative Mayo Clinic. I am supposed to take the substance under my tongue for 2 min sublingually. Yes I confirmed after I was asked about this a few days ago that it is pure naltrexone powder. I kept it refrig since got it and now in fridge.

I am very surprised that your neuro is giving you an immune system suppressant in Avonex and then turning around and boosting you with IVIg. This doesn't make any sense. How can either drug work when one is suppressing the immune system and one is boosting the immune system¿¿¿

I was separately prescribed the avonex and IVIG from my neuro team at the hospital but this was protocol used to stop sharp progression of symptoms because I do not tolerate prednisone, I cannot speak for whether it makes sense or not except I have seen studies where IVIG is being tested with different interferon's.

The IVIG and LDN are immune system boosters...they modulate the immune system back upward.

The Avonex, other interferon's, chemo's and steroids suppress the immune system...they modulate the immune system downward.

Thanks . This is the reason why neuros don't want to RX Avonex and IVIG and then turn around and have their patient obtain LDN elsewhere right? So I have to make a decision on what will stop this steady and what I see primary progression of symptoms only 2 months since diagnosis and now at EDSS of 6,5+
