A couple of days ago I banned a Kay sales person for

advertising/spamming Cosmetic Info. I also reported her to pinksuccess.com

which is a online service and mail carrier for Kay sales people. She

contacted me claiming she was new to internet marketing and not aware of our

advertising policy. This of course is nonsense; she spammed the list as soon

as she joined and didn't take the time to read our advertising policy.

Because of this the following email will go out to all new members upon

joining Cosmetic Info.

We do not allow SPAM/Advertising on the list. The ONLY advertising that is

allowed is from suppliers/resellers that sell ingredients or packaging to

the Toiletries/Cosmetic manufacturer. This advertising is allowed only on

Wednesday. Co-op's and fast buys need permission to post.

If you joined this list with the intention of selling any other product or

service, you are not welcome and should leave the list immediately. If you

ignore this warning and SPAM the list you will be banned immediately, your

ISP and mail carrier will be contacted by me-and any other member that finds

your advertising offensive-and reported as a SPAMMER. Most ISP's do not

tolerate SPAM and will drop you. Warning emails will be sent to like-minded

lists to ban you before you have a chance to spread your SPAM. This policy

applies to all businesses such as Kay, all MLM companies, all get rich

quick schemes, all sexual related advertising, all religiously related

advertising. Any advertising of other email lists, although they may be

allowed with list owners permission.

Folks, spam is like a virus and we need to take action against it. If we all

start reporting it to their isp's it will help to curb it. We don't get an

awful lot on this list, but even the little we do get is too much.
