JL,

I am sorry that this has happened to you. My husband takes the capsule in

3.0 mg. He has stopped the LDN once when he ran out and the new pills took

a while to arrive. He didn't have any withdrawal problems. Also, many

people were instructed to take small breaks from Dr. ce for a while

(he changed his protocol to no longer taking breaks), and I never heard of

any one having a difficult time with withdrawals from that.

Do you think this has something to do with your taking it in a liquid form?

What dosage were you taking?

I hope you feel much better soon

Aletha

, LDN is not a narcotic nor addicting at all. I know many people who have

come off it for surgeries including my mom with no problems. Even I've skipped

two days in a row on it and Dr. Lawrence in the UK used to recommend a few day

or more break from LDN every so often and none of his patients had this

reaction. Did you get the 50mg naltrexone pills from Mexico or something?

That's the only thing I can think of that would cause such a reaction...a drug

from a foreign country that is tainted with a narcotic. The doctors need to

check you for an illegal drug. LDN blocks the effects of narcotics. Naltrexone

has absolutely nothing in it that would cause withdrawal. Your doctor needs to

call Dr. Bihari. You've been drugged somehow.

, even stopping the 50mg dose of Naltrexone will not cause what you are

experiencing. Here's an answer from the frequently asked questions for those

using full dose naltrexone for drug and alcohol addiction.

12. Will I get sick If I stop naltrexone suddenly?

Naltrexone does not cause physical dependence and it can be stopped at any time

without withdrawal symptoms. In addition, available findings regarding cessation

do not show a " rebound " effect to resume alcohol use when naltrexone is

discontinued.

-------

, you've either gotten a stomach virus or you have been drugged by someone

or your liquid LDN mix is tainted with an illegal drug. Have you been with

anyone lately that could have slipped a drug in your drink or been to a bar?

i dont go to bars, no it it is not tainted def legit. its possible i

have a stomach virus which is co-inciding with me stopping the LDN

tho.

If you are going through withdrawal of anything it's 100% not LDN that's causing

withdrawal symptoms. Have you been around anyone who would want to drug you?

The only way one goes through withdrawal is he/she is taking something addictive

and quits too soon. Naltrexone is what people use to help stop their

addictions. There's absolutely nothing in Naltrexone that would cause

withdrawal. Your doctor can look up the full dose naltrexone and see that

naltrexone in no way is addictive and will cause no withdrawal. You need to

investigate outside of naltrexone for the culprit.

What was your reason for stopping LDN and how long had you been off it? LDN

only stays in the system a few hours and it's gone. The only thing that happens

when stopping LDN for a long period is progression of your disease starts up

again and any symptoms LDN may have helped starts to get bad again.

Yes this is definitely a coincidence. It is medically impossible for the LDN to cause that reaction. I would go get a CBC and find out what is going on.
