Guest guest
I originally posted this to the LDNers Group but thought others might like to have a read as it seem like a pretty good report to me! I was diagnsoed last year with MS and began LDN in April or so 2004 @4.5mg. Taks lots of supplements, cod liver oil and inject b12 (methyl) daily. Below is the report gerneated from my MRI several weeks back. Comments are most welcome. My main remianing symptomes are poor vision in left eye (optial neuritis) and a very tight right side from mid back to front below rib cage. MRI OF THE HEAD Sagittal T2 FLAIR, axial T1 FLAIR, T2, proton density with diffusion weighted imaging sequences acquired as per protocol. Correlation is made with patient's previous study February 18th, 2004. CLINICAL INDICATION- Compared to previous MRI, query MS. Multiple minute foci of high signal intensity best identified on sagittal T2 FLAIR sequence within the corpus callosum measuring up to 2mm in diameter. One 3 clover lesion measuring 4.7mm and right subcortical parietal deep white matter lesion measuring 3mm. Similar minute focus within the left occipital deep white matter. These lesions are unchanged from patient's previous examination. No infratentorial involvement. Cerebrum, cerebellum and brain stem are otherwise normal. Ventricles, basal cisterns, cerebral sulci normal. No evidence of intracranial hemorrhage or space occupying lesions. Normal craniovertebral junction and pituitary fossa. Extensive mucosal disease paranasal sinuses unchanged from patient's previous examination. IMPRESSION- Compared with the patient's previous examination there has been resolution of a minute focus within the left subcortical deep white matter. The examination is otherwise unchanged. Features are again suspicious for multiple sclerosis. Clinical correlation advised. The MRI facility of (deleted name - Canadian facility) Hospital is Accredited by the American College of Radiology.
