Tomorrow, August 16, is the big day at my attorney's office. I meet with my attorney before the meeting with my soon to be ex and his attorney begins. The meeting is expected to be four hours. I'm requesting prayers for God's will to be done tomorrow, whether it's for the finalization of the divorce or if a settlement agreement is not to be reached. I appreciate your prayers very much. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ , I've been there, done that. You have my prayers. NOW...do you have a potentially dibilitating condition? If so, look out for yourself! Did your hubby provide well? Was he a jerk? You know these kinds of things better than a lawyer. The lawyer is working for YOU! Don't let him/her talk you into something that you don't feel comfortable with. I learned the hard way! My ex was a total selfish jerk who needed to realize that I was not taking any more of his crap! I was already in this wheelchair and needed him to grow up and do the right thing. My lawyer said, "You're a good Christian woman, and you know what the good book says about retribution." So, I backed down and basically got screwed! Don't do it! FIGHT for YOU! Be strong!
