Society in the present day promotes drugs and alcohol as the “quick-fix†for helping you to feel calm and free from agitation. Having participated in this calming illusion for a number of years, I found that eventually they stopped working and I still did not know how to free my agitated mind. Today, what works for me is meditation, prayer, taking a deep breath, being of service to others, seeking help when I need help, and following my passion. Try them all until you find what works for you. Please Note this affirmation is not about using medication under a doctor's supervision.
