Guest guest
There’s a bunch of stuff out there. If you go to the ’s law website, he’s got decisions about ABA, where the court (not in Texas I know. . . .) made the school pay for ABA programs. I got a list of them from Snead at the ARC of Greater Houston. You may be able to e-mail her and get those references if you can’t find them on the wrightslaw.com website. There is the et. Al. study which found that ABA is much more effective than the typical school eclectic program. And there is also the Simpson study—I have both of those in electronic format that I could send you if you like. Be careful though, because when you start pushing for ABA in the school, they can turn around and respond that what they are doing is ABA. You need to make sure that you have a BCBA or some behavior professional who can work with you and your child on this too. S. At present the school that my child attends PPcd class believes that there is not sufficient effidence that ABA works. If someone could guide me to documents (Studies) that prove that ABA is an effective - it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, CP No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG.
