Guest guest
Hi, On the program W5 ( a show something like Dateline in the states) last night on TV there was a story about the research done on stem cells for MS here in Toronto, Canada. They talked about a study done on 6 people eventually they want it done on 24 people. Last time I talked to my neuro Dr Jack Antel (he does stemcell research at Montreal hospital) he said that it wasn't ready yet and tha one person had died. Well in this report they talked about this person. He died of liver shutdown. To give the stem cells a chance to work they must use the strongest drugs available for chemio. The man who died because he got sick and his liver gave up. But they showed one lady where things went well. then we followed another lady through the whole process. It's been two years now and she still is doing ok. They used the patient own stem cells from the bone marrow and some other place. The doctors say that the stem cells stop the progression of MS. They were surprise to see that the first patient who underwent the procedure has shown some signes of improvement on the mri. I wrote to the tv station and talked to them about LDN and gave them the officile site. I don't know if it will do anything. we'll see. I'd rather take my LDN then take the stemcell procedure at this point intime. It's still very risky. they said either you come out of it better or you come out dead. It's stil a big risk.
