This is a good forum. > I'm tired of being a human > pin cushion with injections. I really wonder if any one else has just > dropped one of the CRAB drugs and started LDN. I am dx RRMS(04/2004). I was on Copaxone for a year and it failed to stop progression (as measured by MRI) although as before Copaxone, I had very little symptoms on it. (1 definite exacerbation). I also hated the pin-cushion and migrating redspots. I learned about LDN and before I had a prescription for it, had already quit Copaxone. I met with my doc, told him that I realized LDN is unproven as far as medical science is concerned, but that I would like him to write a prescription. As he had never done that, I had to tell him how. I had already verified that a couple of local compounding pharmacies could make 4.5 mg pills. After starting out on the compounded drug, I decided to switch to the liquid method for more flexibility in dosage, convenience in filling the prescription and cost. My doctor called in a new prescription at my request. I am happy with the decision and believe it was best for me. I expect to see my doctor again in either December or next May and hope to report nothing in the meantime. Best wishes My family - www.kennardfamily.org My MRIs - www.kennardfamily.com/MyBrain.html
Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the Group. I was on Betaseron but did not move from it to LDN directly only because I was not aware of LDN's existence. After I decided to stop Betaseron because it was not doing anything except making my symptoms worse I searched around before coming across LDN. If I had known about it before I would never have injected that stuff into my body. Kind regards, Joanne > I'm of happymspage .I have had MS since 1980. > Now i'm in SPMS form of this disease.
