Guest guest
One suggestion would be to have her try taking the powder out of the pill and mixing it in a small amount of liquid. (you might want her to start that at the 3mg as some have reported it is more potent). This has given a few of our members more energy. Also if that does not work, you can have her try taking DL-Phenylalanine. My husband takes this twice a day on an empty stomach. 500mg per pill. This is suggested by Dr. Bihari for overall well being and less depression, but it also helps with pain and a bit more energy. Apparently it extends the work that LDN does, more so through the whole day. Hope this helps Aletha [low dose naltrexone] STIFF LEGS AND TIREDNESS I am looking for any input from anyone who has experienced something similar. My daughter has been on LDN for almost 2 years, until the last month she was on 3mg, taken at 11pm every night. When she suddenly started experienced extreme fatigue again, we tried upping it to 4.5, which has worked perfectly for the last month but the last week she has had very extreme stiffness in her legs. We are thinking of going back to 3 mg. Also thought maybe changing the time she takes the pill. Can anyone give me any suggestions?
Guest guest
Hi Today I went from 4.5 back to 3.5 and took it in the daytime instead of at 9 pm. The result was that during daytime I felt great, but in the evening very stiff. I think tomorrow I will take it a bit later. Just experiment a bit till you find the best combination. Good luck, A.paatti1 <b_hammel@...> wrote: I am looking for any input from anyone who has experienced something similar. Guest guest
Hi Paatti, For fatigue try a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a warm cup of water. I advise drinking it in the morning or afternoon, because it will keep you awake, thus giving you more energy. Initially, in 1999 when diagnosed, I was prescribed Ammantadine(symmetrel) for fatigue, but since taking LDN in 2004 someone on this site suggested the spice Cayenne Pepper. Also try water aerobics, it is the best way to exercise the legs and all parts of the body.
