Although I started training for a marathon in June, July was so hot, I only ran a total of 12 miles in the entire month. Since starting LDN, I have lost about 8 pounds and seem to be on a downward trend, despite the fact that I enjoy eating and often eat quite a bit of food. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ , Several here have lost weight w/LDN. I didn't have any to lose but haven't gained any either. My hair & nails grow like crazy too. Marcie

Many have lost around 10 pounds on LDN. I stay on a low carb diet and had no extra fluid for LDN to pull off so I did not have a drop in weight. Guest guest
You guys are so lucky!!! I eat hardly anything and I feel/look like a cow!!!! I would love to drop several lbs, and if LDN helped in this area, I would take the 50mg tabs!!! Guest guest
I was 135 in March '03 Started LDN 4/17/03 Weighed 124 in November '03 Weighed 127 in November '04 Weigh 114 as of 7/21/05 I think it just put my metabolism back to the way it used to be. I was very impressed by 124 after 7 months, and that I was stable through '04... but 114 on 7/21 was a shocker! I'm on 3.0 MG, tried 4.5 twice, dropped back to 3.0 [low dose naltrexone] Weight loss ?? Has anyone experienced weight loss in connection with LDN? I started LDN on 6/22/2005 at 4.5 mg. Guest guest
My metabolism was always fast, I noticed it slowed down in the early 90s, coincidentally when I started having Annual exacerbations! I think I was at my heaviest in 1993, we moved and I lost some... don't remember the figures... but they were in the high 130s and 140s. I also changed my eating habits after the 2002 exacerbation, and more so after all my allergy testing in 2/03, 2 months before starting LDN. Guess it's a winning combination... as long as I don't go below 107, my BMI is within normal range. I can't imagine losing any more though. I am happy with 114, I like it, I like it.
