Guest guest
Sociology. I intend to get a Ph.D eventually. I'm working on my bachelor's now. I figured since I can't use my body for work, I might as well put my best asset to work, my mind. I can be successful and productive and maybe even one day famous (grin) if I get a good education. Then it doesn't matter if I have FMS. -Tath Re: living vs chronic pain Hi Tath....now that is being productive. I'm not productive at all because of the pain in my lower back. Whats your study. I took a look at your group site, too, and bookmarked it so I can take a better look around. Moderator, Yahoo Chronic Pain

At the time my pain was also not as well controlled as it is now, although it still leaves a lot to be desired. I've never been one to sit and when I could no longer work decided that I needed to find a way to do something, anything, as much as possible... If you pain meds are prescribed as " take X pills every X hours " you'll probably find that you're better off sticking to that schedule. When you wait until you are in pain or until the pain is very bad, it is not going be as effective as it is when it has a chance to build and maintain a level in your system. Moderator, Yahoo!
