Workshop Overview: Discussions will include types of feeding

disorders to include sensory, motor and sensorimotor feeding

disorders. Methods and techniques will be presented to assist

parents and professionals in addressing different types of sensory

feeding issues.

Presenter Bio: Ms. Sharene , M.S. CCC-SLP has been a practicing

speech-language pathologist in New York, New Jersey and Florida for

17 years. She received her master's degree in the Department of

Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South

Florida. She also holds a valid special education certification. Ms.

served as a clinical manager in hospital, public schools and

rehabilitation settings. She also established a pediatric outpatient

program for St. 's Hospital in ville, Florida. Ms.

currently provides consultation and evaluation services to

numerous schools and agencies. For the past 5 years Ms. has

been working with ASD population incorporating behavioral strategies

to increase speech, language and feeding skills.
