Sp. Ed teacher wanted 1hr/wk LI, NY

A family I work with is looking for a teacher for one hour a week(possibly

Sundays) for tutoring with their 10 year old ASD son. They live in Nassau

County. The teacher would work on reading comprehension, inferencing, expanding

language, writing (main idea etc) and occassional studying/school projects or

homework. The child is in a self-contained 3rd grade class and mainstreamed for

math and specials. He is a smart, fast learner, with a great sense of humor.

Good private pay. Experience with autism/ABA helpful. Please respond by e-mail
