Guest guest
Hi Ashish, I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Shantidoot and Bawa Regency some time back. Hotel Shantidoot is very close to Tata and KEM. Just walking distance. It is very safe and rooms are < 3500. It has a restaurant which serves excellent Gujrati thali (one person cannot finish it ). On it's ground floor there is a wholesale saree bazar. I am sure Madam can spend hours and hours there and you must be prepared for an onslaught on your pocket. I bought two sarees, however my wife passed them on to her maids. But the rooms are pathetic. You just can't use their linen. So carry your personal towels etc. Hotel Bawa Regency is a little away. One has to take a three wheeler to reach Tata/ KEM. But it is relatively new and well maintained. It is also safe and rooms are < 3500. Sorry no experience about other hotels. Guest guest
Ashish       Do not worry because Mumbai is still safer as compared to some other places. Shantidoot will be a good option. Take care .
