Visual Communication Strategies in Autism

This course is written and presented by Krista Kennedy at Behavioral Building

Blocks. It is designed to help parents and professionals learn techniques

needed to use a visual communication system with children with disabilities.

There will be a strong focus on learning the strategies discussed in the PECS

Manual, as well as, how to better motivate children to use the system, when to

introduce new skills to the child, and trouble shooting common problems that

occur with training. This is a continuing education course and anyone is able

to sign up.
