I have AIM as well, and my name is Twinklebat. Since my cable modem is always logged in to the network, I'm usually on and off all day. Hope everyone has been having a great week, Kristy
Guest guest
What do you mean by " AIM " ? We have AIM here in Dayton that my son attends. It is Adventures in Movement. The idea behind it is that we all have a rhythm to the way we walk, talk, etc. It is a 30 minute program that is done to music. Clap to the beat, touch body parts to the beat, etc. They work on following simple instructions and utilize music to make it rhythmic. Dr. Jo A. Geiger, National Executive Director, in cooperation with dedicated doctors and educators, combined their knowledge and talents in testing and evaluating various movement exercises that would be most beneficial and easily adaptable to individuals with visual, hearing, emotional, learning, orthopedic, or coordination disabilities. The AIM Method of Specialized Movement Education is the result of their combined efforts. http://www.aimforthehandicapped.org/ He's been in it for almost 2 years now. He attends once a week for 30 minute sessions. He loves music, and he enjoys his sessions. Good luck, Candie wrote:
Guest guest
Ok, Silly me...I now see that AIM stands for Autism in Milwaukee. Well, now you've heard about something new AIM for the handicapped. The sessions are free. There aren't many therapies that are beneficial to our kids out there that are free. AIM is great.
