Dr. Foxx on controversial treatments

Hi all

We would like to hold a workshop in Montreal on how to select appropriate

interventions

for individuals with ASDs and other developmental disabilities. Our goal is,

of course, to

inform parents, professionals, and health and education administrators on how to

evaluate

interventions.

However, this process needs to be done with tact so as not to turn off the

audience. As

elsewhere, there are many families and professionals here in Quebec involved in

controversial methods.

We are thinking of bringing Foxx here to present a talk on

" Controversial

treatments for autism and other developmental disabilities " . I would like to

have feedback

from members of this discussion group who have attended presentations by

Foxx,

especially on the theme we have chosen.
