Guest guest
Hello All, I hope you are all doing OK. Haven't posted in a while, but have been reading the site...great info and I thank you all. Wish I could tell you things are better, but I feel really bad. In bed most days, depressed? hypo? who knows? I quit smoking, Adderall, changed antihypertensives and antidepressants all in the last two weeks. Yea, I'm a little crazy!! Reading all I can, and I am just sick of being prescribed more meds and not feeling better. I was on 120mg/Cymbalta-wanted off, NP switched me to a " new drug " called Pristique. Talked me into trying this med instead of going off antidepressants all together. My new NP is in Tomball, and did give me Armour. She said to take it in the morning and evening(30mgx2) to start. She listened to me, I like her if anyone wants her name. Only problem is blood tests ordered is just for TSH-I will talk to her about this when I go back. Finally got appt on Fri with MD. Yeah!! Really don't know what I hope to hear, it would be nice if I could be fixed, but I know it will take time no matter what they find/say. Thanks for listening. Guest guest
You should be weaned gradually off those drugs. Even and abrupt switch can do bad things to your body and especially brain. I would be cautious with changing/stopping so many things at once. Marti > Hello All, > > I hope you are all doing OK.
