I am a " party pooper " cause I don't celebrate thanksgiving

hello all you dear people,

just dropping in to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving

and to let you all know how thankful i am for...you!

all of you. and i love all the juicy, messy, human reality that has been

on

display here lately.

if anyone thinks they are above it, my story is...sor-ry...WRONG!

we've all been there before, and will be again sooner or later.

i forsee a tidal wave of confusion on the horizon, all circling around my

beloved Renata, her very quickly approaching move to california, and of

course

me (who would be central to all of it).

i hope i come to this wonderful group and do many worksheets...or at least

just one!

hope everyone eats til they pass out today ; )

Dear Tami.. I get this from people occasionally.. Thanks giving is not

a Christain holiday.. Jews celebrate thanksgiving also It is a

celebration of the pilgrims and the indians sharing a meal together.

... but it is really a patriotic American holiday not christian.

My husband is jewish and all of his family also celebrate

thanksgiving.. Although actually your suppose to give thanks on every

Shabbat . and praise God. (which is why your not suppose to mourn or

do any work on the sabbath. )

A part jew by marriage.
