We parents would really like to see them hire a BCBA or a someone very experienced in providing ABA and other researched based programming and curriculum for children with autism. Please let any of your students or colleagues know who might be interested. A representative from Ann Arbor public schools will be attending the Penn State and Ohio State recruiting fairs in the middle of this month. As far as the Michigan certification or licensing, you don't currently need it, if needed you could pursue it once you get here.
