: memory loss and old song lyrics

Your post made me laugh so hard. You sound just like me. What kills me is that I

used to be so sharp, and now I do all kinds of silly things. Worst thing is that

I have no memory whatsoever of what I did with my keys, remote, whatever I just

had in my hand. I have taken to tying my keys to my purse, super-gluing string

to the remote and attaching it to the end table, etc. I write lists constantly-

tired of going somewhere and wondering why I am there! Weird thing- I have very

sketchy long-term memory too, but can sing along to any " oldie " that I hear. I

have often joked that these old song lyrics have filled up all the available

space in my memory, and that's why I can't remember anything.

Please note that I do not take any medication besides calcium and vitamin

supplements; I figure it's due to FMS.
