I have posted this on the another list and thought I did here but

apparently did not. I will paste the SOS i sent to the other list

and really hope you can help. Basically my dad who has the Cape

Girardeau based foundation Ethan and Friends for autism is going to

have personalized plates that have already been designed that say

Understand Autism! The entire design is awesome and I can send it

to you if you want. Please read the details and help him so he can

help you!!!

In order to do this he has to have $5000.00 and names of 250

interested persons to send into tAs you have been reading the

foundation Ethan and Friends for Autism started by Mike Sciortino of

Cape Girardeau is at their deadline for getting their money and

applications in to have personalized plates for all to see that say

Understand Autism! The design is done and is awesome! They have

120 paid applicants and many more than this that have said they

wanted a plate. In order to get the Missouri license bureau to

start the process of having plates available to you for your car

they need $5000.00 and names of 250 people who are interested. So

they want money and your name. In order to raise the money my

father, Mike Sciortino, and his group came up with the idea that the

250 people who want their names on the list (meaning they want a

plate when available) would send him $20 and this would get them to

the $5000.00 mark.

The state must have both your name that you will want a plate once

it is done as well as this huge amount of money just to get it

started. The $20 you send now will go toward the $35 it costs for

the actual plate. It is slightly more than a personalized plate but

you will renew it the same as you would any license plate. when

license plates are renewed after this current process is over, the

money will start to accumulate and will go out into the community to

help kids with autism. It is a fundraiser that has worked well in

other states as well as missouri, but nobody has been able to get it

done in a way that would help our kids. Mike, my dad is going to do

it!

The SOS I am re- sending here is because my dad only has $1500.00

and still needs many more names. Mostly needs the money. He is

going to put up the rest of the money himself which I do not want

him to do. So please if you want a plate send him $20, so that he

does not go into debt to do what nobody has been able to do. This

man and his foundation are going to go places nobody else has to so

please help them in any way you can so that he can eventually help

you. If my dad could help you in any way today, he would. He is

the most giving person you will ever meet. He has spent every day

of his life doing for others and now wants to give back to families

dealing with what he has seen me and my family go through.

He must get application, names and money into the state by June 30

so please help now.

Even if you get your money in late your payment of $20 toward your

$35 plate will put the investment my dad has made back into his

savings (his retirement) and you will still get a plate!
