Too bad the university did not hire a qualified building science consultant to properly determine why the problem exists. Given the number of really qualified persons in the USA it is a shame that they are wandering around, pretty much clueless. My experience is that mold cleanup firms seldom get the reason for the mold problems correct.

Thought this group might be interested in this story. My daughter is at this college and they are renting a cruise ship for the freshmen who had to evacuate. Its been delayed due to a storm in the Atlantic.

I hope your daughter is not caught in this. That's what they did in New Orleans, too, after Katrina. They rented the Scotia Prince cruise ship for some of the people who had nowhere to go. The cruise ship was available for rent because the owner was in litigation over mold making his employees ill in the ferry terminal it operated from in New England. The case was Scotia Prince v. the City of Portland, Maine.
