Guest guest Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 Dear Steve I find a lot of clarity in your words :-) When I hear clarity/truth it touches me and I am withdrawn to her I enjoy your answers, Thank you (true, true, I enjoy my answers also, sometimes I read what I wrote - a few times) I have discovered, that there are two kinds of people: 1 These who have arrived to clarity, (like ), or are close I found there answers inspiring I think it is because, the truth as power. (belief?). These people knows that they are guiding no one but them-self, so they are open to learn more and more espatially from there own answers (You are the teacher you have been waiting for) 2 And these who think they know better than anyone else so, they give advises (that they should give themself) a lot of confusion. But, even than, I learn mainly from myself and I thank for that this group that brings up ideas, I give myself the answer I need to hear. But yet, when I hear clarity, it increases my thinking boundaries. When I ask for suggestion I want to here the groups experience I am not looking for a recipe for happiness. Guest guest Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 Another thought: A few days ago I wrote here a message about a crying child (message #24843) I got a few feedbacks But one feedback saddened me. :-( I got a reply from someone, he " answered " me, but, through his answer I felt that he misunderstood me. I was upset, he was proving me on things I didn't say. It is like I will claim: " Moshe " 's happiness is Moshe's business!!! and his reply was: Who is business is Moshe's happiness? - Moshe's!!! Any way, I got upset. I was thinking: wasn't I clear enough, this guy, didn't read my message, he got it all wrong. And than I saw that: I learned from him a lot: He got what i said perfactlly!!! I say what I say and people will understand what they understood. No mistakes! My thinking was mistaking thinking that he should have understood me The truth is that what people understand is there business and he understood perfectly. I can release myself from explaining to people my truth they will get from my things what they need to get. And I see another thing with clear eyes now: What he was saying to me, he was saying to himself (I am not sure if he was listening to himself but that is not my business) So this guy, is my teacher, in a indirect way. Yes, I can sometimes learn from Andy as well, even when I feel like arguing with him. He is wise. I had a great experience yesterday facilitating a fellow in The Work that I will share here. His Work was on his girl friend. He was upset because she had lied to him. He said " My girl friend should not lie to me. " I asked him questions 1 & 2 and he answered an emphatic " YES " . Then I asked him #3 like this: How does it make you feel when you believe this obvious lie that your girl friend should not lie -- or that anyone should not lie to you for that matter. He stared at me with anger for a moment and then bingo, he got it and broke down laughing with tears. We had a great time over this and we then went right to the turnaround of " I should not lie to me about my girl friend should not lie. " And it was finished. If there is no " little willingness " then the Truth can not penetrate the illusion. The Truth is Love and will not enter in uninvited. Like what I read in a early message The tought the world should be in peace. according to reality rules it is a lie. They are affraid to acknowledge that because they think they are giving up thier dream of peace in the world. How do you see that why, sometimes people dont want to know the truth? " a response to that question could fill a book; however, here is my short version. Because our lie or our illusion/projection is our perception of our existence/world and to be willing to lose this can be frightening. Like when we are asked question #4 (i.e. Who or what would you be without that thought?), we often have to answer that we have no idea who or what we would be without that concept, thus perhaps indicating that we really prefer not to know? These lies are believed because we are confused about who we really are. We believe that we are separate from others and God and this generates complete confusion about what is true. We believe that we are a body and that the body needs to be defended at all costs. We believe that because we are a body, that we could die. So, all the lies/thoughts are truly body related and exist as a defense against the death of the body. And as just reminded me, I can't really know if any of this is True. It is merely my response to your asking in the moment.
