Guest guest
God's timing is everything. If it's not your time to be called home, nothing can take you out of this world. That is such a confronting thought. My Dad worked at Goodyear Chemical Plant in Houston for 45 years. He was always protected in those years that he worked there. Charlotte Counting my blessings... Hi Everyone, This afternoon reminded me about just how precious life can be and what really is important in life. Most of you in the United States have seen the national news where the Texas City refinary BP Amoco exploded. My eldest son, Arron and my father both work at this plant. Also, right before the explosion, my mother, daughter-in-law, and one of my grandsons had just left the plant after having lunch with Arron. When the explosion happened, Arron was just a little more than a block away from the explosion. He was knocked down to the ground from the blast, but not injured. My dad's office is not too close to where the explosion is, but his office was shook and things fell off the wall. My mother, daughter-in-law, and grandson had just left the plant, so they were uninjured. So, I am thanking God tonight for keeping all of my family safe, because in just a moment, I could have lost my entire family! Just needed to share... Guest guest
Hi Kristy, You really have a reason to thank God. I have treated explosion victim and still doing it as part of my job. I must confess i can't wish any of my enemy(i don't have one) to be a victim, talkless of my friend. The bible says no weapon fashioned against His people shall prosper. And because you acknowledge Him,He knows your name. No one else can save a family of any agony except God I REJOICE WITH YOU! Guest guest
Kristy, I understand how you feel. Two days before our wedding, my brother who works for a gas company, was at a house when it exploded! He was outside turning off the gas from the street when it happen. He needed a few surgeries, but I'm happy to say when you see him now, you'd never know! He still has some back problems, but at least he is alive and well! This happened in 1996 and I still count my blessings!!!!!
