It seems like a helpful thought to me, for me. What do you think, Tami? That's what is important for you -- does believing the thought serve you? I'll be interested in hearing what you learn about it. Tom
Guest guest
says: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR ME, NOT TO ME... It seems like a helpful thought to me, for me. What do you think, Tami? ##### Tom, I want to understand something. I read this statement on 's book: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR ME, NOT TO ME... I don't know for sure if it is true or not. I do know that if I would embrace it my life would be easier, I would feel less of a victim (in some points) more powerful. But I find it hard to digest the fact that we don't know for sure if it is true or not but yet we embrace it. What if we are deceiving ourself? What if it is not true, and thing are happening to us? Do you understand my difficulty? I can claim that everything is happening for the best: How do you know you don't need money, friends, relationships? Because you don't have any!!! So, is it in the manner of not arguing with reality (because-that I understand) Or does claims, more than not arguing with reality that we really don't need what we don't have Did I make myself clear? Guest guest
For me, claims to have learned to know that it " hurts " when she argues with What Is. She does not claim to know anything except what hurts and what does not in the moment.
