Bob:

1. Regarding your note:

" BTW, I am sure you noticed that the Mycologia article was JOINTLY authored

by Larry on, PhD. Former President of IAQA.

He also references as the most significant historical researcher. "

Response:

a. Why should I care who the co-author is (no offense to Mr.

on). The way I view it, it is a question of what the article

consists of, not who wrote it.

If Einstein wrote it, I'd still evaluate it the same, although I'd

likely be more careful on checking my evaluation before reporting it.

b. As for as the " most significant " .

The Mycologia article states was the " first to characterize the

presence of fungal spores in the atmosphere " . This " who was first " was the

point that I disagree with - he certainly was not the first, and he did not

do it in 1789 but rather 1879.

By the way, Maddox was an MD as was Sigerson. Sigerson was Ireland's first

neurosurgeon and a Fellow of the Linnean Society. He had an MD from Queens

Univ in Ireland and a Master in Surgery (MCh) from there as well, and he

graduated top of his class at St. Joe College in France (bachelors). He was

a published poet at age 21, he tested application of metals to the skin to

treat illness, as well as using electro-therapy. He also served as a

Senator in Ireland and played politics fairly well. Very much a renaissance

man.

2. Regarding my question:

'So what do you define as " sensitive " person in the PRV book?'

[in response to your statement about the PRV book: the only reference I am

aware of that SPECIFICALLY states that PRV testing should be done for

" sensitive populations " ]

You responded by:

a. Explaining " high-risk populations " as used in the PRV book

And

b. Stating " Sensitive individuals is a term used by AAAI " (presumably

not in the PRV book)

And

c. Stating " people who develope(sic) SBS syndrome. They are also

sensitive individuals. " (presumably not in the PRV book)

So a couple of questions, since I'm not getting it:

Q1: Does the PRV book use the term " sensitive populations " when

recommending PRV testing?

If so, where?

Q2: Where is " sensitive populations " (or persons) defined in the PRV

book?

Tony

Ps Still out of the office. Hopefully back in soon.
