On 29 th July, Dr Ramji Singh, Head Department of Physiology, underwent a

three- vessel coronary artery bypass graft surgery at SGPGI, Lucknow.

He stood the operation well. After spending a day in the surgical ICU, he

was transferred to the private room. He has started walking in the

long corridors of the hospital and is looking forward to getting discharged

from the hospital. The surgeons would let him go home by Monday evening.

Dr Ramji will spend about two weeks in Lucknow. He is planning to return

Sevagram in the third week of July. It has been more than nine weeks that

Ramji hasn't been spotted in Sevagram: his friends and colleagues are

developing withdrawal symptoms now!
