The Mariposa School is still in the process of expanding. We currently have

students waiting for more instructors so they may enter our program .

We are also in the process of looking for a Speech Pathologist and an

Occupational Therapist.

Positions are full time, with competitive salary and benefits.

Instructors: Work one-on-one with children using Verbal Behavior approach.

Must have a B.A. or B.S degree in psychology or a related field, and at

least one year of paid experience working with children with autism. ABA/VB

experience a plus.

Speech Therapist: Works as part of a team with Behavior Analysts and

individual instructors to guide development of functional language using

Verbal Behavior techniques. Training on behavior techniques will be

provided. Applicant must have a Master's Degree from approved College or

School of Speech/Language Pathology, and current state or national licensure

in Speech Pathology. Minimum one year of experience required.

Occupational Therapist: Works as part of a team with Behavior Analysts and

individual instructors to guide development of fine/gross motor skills.

Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.

Must possess a current valid OT license in the state of NC (or license

eligible.) and must also be Board certified in Occupational Therapy.

Experience with Sensory Integration a plus. Must be willing to embrace

teaching techniques used at the school --training will be provided.

Minimum one year of experience required.
