Guest guest
Seems to me that sbout a year or two ago someone was offering a downloadable program which sent the freqs right out the face of the Monitor. Was that someones dream, would it work, or was that a scam? I thot these were vacuum tubes, but on the other hand, the coatings probably gassify to low pressure while lighting the tubes with fairly low wattage much like the little fluorescents with which we are all familiar (and which, wih hard UV shielding, would work in a pinch). Scanning through the web about monitor tubes....seems they need only about 25 watts to light. The 2n6059 which many of us use, can stay happy to 150 watts......and conductive metal glues must exist with which to attach electrodes to opposite sides of the monitor....... Anyone??????
