In a message dated 2/4/2005 12:34:40 AM Central Standard Time,

Texas-Autism-Advocacy writes:

training opportunity for parents

I have done it several different ways. I have put it in writing to the sped

director and the principal, I have requested it at an ARD meeting, and I

have combined the two (handed them a formal written request at an ARD

meeting!)

If your district is not actively providing parent training, you have a very

valid request. You might even cc: TEA with your letter....

If you could provide a sample letter that would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Ali
