Guest guest
Today, I take my time and I am patient.Instant gratification. That’s what I used to be all about. I’ve realizedthrough the years that patience is a skill that I am constantly in need ofhoning. What do you do when another driver cuts in front of you? What are youthinking when the bus is not on time making you late for an appointment? How doyou feel when you get in the “wrong†lane at the grocery store? Slow down. Have patience. Silence the voices in your mind that push you to act beforethinking. I find that the real solutions do occur when I am patient and listento my own emotional and intellectual processes as they unfold.“What we need is a cup of understanding, a barrel of love, and an ocean ofpatience.†~~ St. Francis de Sales
