sign language/communication mode with seizures??

I was told there had been or is some research being done on

communication mode for our kids who have known seizures. There is a

lot of debate where I am now and where I am from over sign vs.

PECS. DUH, this is everywhere I think. I have my preference which

is sign with my non verbal son with seizures, age 5 because I did

PECS after sign and saw changes I did not like. this is my choice

but my sons school director asked me if I could check with you for

info on this subject especially any ongoing research. Also any info

on those of you out there with lower functioning kids who have

seizures and have tried sign and or PECS and can tell me how it went

would also be most helpful. You may email me off list also.
