(_www.dowerandassociates.com_ (http://www.dowerandassociates.com) ) is now recruiting for a: Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (Autism/Developmental Disabilities/Verbal Behavior) DESCRIPTION: This full time position (defined as 40+ hours a week with no more than 32 hours a week of direct client contact) provides behavioral acquisition and reduction services to individuals with autism/developmental disabilities and their families with special emphasis placed on ABA/Verbal Behavior programming. RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities include assisting with functional assessments and analyses, co-authoring behavioral treatment plans, carrying out competency-based parent/staff training on skill acquisition programs, providing 1:1 instruction for all clients served weekly, analyzing data, monitoring implementation of treatment plans, and recommending adjustments to treatment plans. This position is primarily within home based programs and requires travel within a local area (primarily Loudoun County, Prince County, e County, Frederick County/City of Winchester and Western Fairfax County.) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS. The candidate will have (a) a minimum of a bachelors degree in a health or human service related field from an accredited college or university; ( be either a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst or currently possess all requirements to be a BCaBA with intent of sitting for and passing the BCaBA examination in 2005 © one or more years supervised experience carrying out behavioral treatment plans and ABA/VB programs; (d) effective oral and written communication skills; and (e) outstanding social skills.
