Guest guest
Saint, Alpha Theta, like many of my continuous feedback designs, is not a " reward " protocol, it is an information protocol. The surf sounds give the brain information about the level of alpha. If they went on or off, then I guess they might be rewarding it. I believe the surf sound gets lower as alpha drops and 7Hz activity increases, and the only real " reward " is the chime that rings when 7Hz crosses over. Guest guest
Thanks, Pete, So there is background information for the level of alpha (o ratio of alpha to theta), the chimes for 7 hz and for crossover. The surf then is the background for predominance of alpha; there is no “background” for the predominance of theta, and the only reward sounds (chimes=tubular bells) are 7 hz and crossover. Do I have that right? Saint P.S., I love the constant chant and the binaural stimulation of 7 hz. Guest guest
I don't work for predominance of theta. I want the 7 Hz activity to predominate, so I don't give feedback for theta except the possible knocking sound if 3 hz activity grows too significantly.
