Guest guest
Hi Amy, My daughter had severe eczema all over her body when she was younger and I tried everything. My pharmacist recommended that I not use steroid creams long term as they may have detrimental effects. Instead he (People's Pharmacy) recemmended Emu Oil. Sounds really strange, I know, but it helped her skin out a lot. It did not rid her of the rash but it was the beginning of the end. We applied Emu Oil to her skin several times a day and also used Cetaphil cream. I also tried to make sure that she was getting enough Omega-3s in her diet. (via supplements or avocados etc.) I am glad to say that her skin has cleared up (with the occasional break-out due to dry air or heat). If you would like more info, let me know. I have been through this and I know it is tough, but it will get better. Darcy
