Guest guest
, Try a Whey protein powder-it's easier to digest and beneficial for the immune system. It also tastes less chalky than Soy protein and mixes well. :-)
Guest guest
I just purchased some OPTIMUM NUTRITION 100% NATURAL WHEY PROTEIN 5LB CHOCOLATE that contains which has 5 carbs and 22 protein per serving. Guest guest
I use designer protein 17g protein <2g carbs the protein powder you have sounds quite balanced and could be used as a meal replacement like myoplex rather than being a protein to add to a carbohydrate like oatmeal. > > Power oatmeal is oatmeal with peanutbutter and > > chocolate protein > > powder, and a little cocoa. > > I'm curious about the chocolate protein powder you use > to make this. Thanks for the suggestion. I think I want to try the one Andyman suggested as it has slightly more protein. I do use the protein powder that I currently have as a meal replacement. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
, http://nutritionmegastore.com sells the Optimum Nutrition Natural Whey Chocolate protein I mentioned, 5 lbs for $23.00. They also have the kind that is doesn't have the word Natural in it, but on this list says the Natural is the best tasting. The Natural kind has fructose in it which I imagine helps with the taste and it is only 2.5 more carbs per serving than the other. I found the nutrition info on Optimum's web site since Megastore doesn't list it. Optimum sells it for $43.99 which is a lot more! Guest guest
I use the protein powder made by PVL Nutrients. In a 1-scoop serving of 21g, it has only 1.8g carbs. Guest guest
I think I would get a protein powder with less carbs in it. You will be getting to many carbs at this meal. It tastes fine, although you may want to add some calorie-free/carb-free sweetener. The PVL price is reasonable too. Andy
