Barbie Blizzard has worked in the field of Autism for over 20 years. She has

her Masters of Education (with an emphasis on Autism) from Texas Woman's

University. She was the Educational Coordinator for the Autism Treatment Center

of

Dallas for 11 years. She has worked as a therapist, trainer and Consultant for

ABA programs for the last 10 years. In addition, Barbie will soon complete

the certification process in RDIâ„¢. As a consultant, she works with children,

families and teams in the home setting. She also consults with school districts.

She has spoken in public often on “School Shadowingâ€, “Troubleshooting

Home

Programsâ€, “Changing Problem Behavior†and “Effective Reinforcementâ€.

She

also has provided many workshops on the “ABCs of ABA†through FEAT-NT. As

well,

she conducts in-service trainings for several early childhood and school

programs in North Texas.
