Need Info about edison schools.

My NT daughter goes to an Edison school, we love it.

My autistic daughter (non-verbal) can not go there. Is your child high

functioning? I actually would not want my autistic child there. She did go

there

(Edison) for developmental preschool. In my opinion the teachers are not

trained enough to deal with the autistic children. Maybe your Edison is

different?? What the preschool teacher said was..If it's something that less

than 30 %

of the public has then they can't go there (regular edison).Whatever...LOL

I know they do have some special needs classes though.

Hi all,

I would like to know about the charter/edison schools.Are they

better....Do they have one on one instruction facility?I am in

Indianapolis...if anyone has information about a good school for

special needs children(autism) please reply.
